Ask a question online about your child

Unfortunately, you cannot ask a question about your child or anyone else using your own DigiD.

Would you still like to ask a question on behalf of your child (under 16)? If so, there are two options:

1. Set up a separate email address for your child
You can set up an email address for your child to use themselves. Messages and replies will then be sent to a separate inbox.

2. Create an alias
An alias is an additional email address linked to your existing mailbox. The advantage of this is that messages sent to the alias are simply delivered to your own mailbox.

Creating an alias in Hotmail/Outlook

Aliases are created via Microsoft:

1. Go to account.microsoft.com and log in.
2. Click on the menu to ‘Your details’.
3. Scroll down to ‘Account details’ and click on ‘Edit account details’.
4. Click on ‘Add email address’.
5. Choose ‘Create a new email address and add it as an alias’.
6. Enter the email address you wish to use and click on ‘Add alias’.
7. If necessary, confirm your email address using the verification email from Microsoft.
